A Constant Through the Seasons - Celebrating Becky Campbell

In the lives of many families, there’s been one familiar, comforting presence through countless sniffles, check-ups, first fevers, and growing pains — Becky Campbell.

After more than 40 years dedicated to pediatrics, including 27 years with Quincy Medical Group (QMG), Becky, a nurse practitioner, is retiring. To the families she cared for, she has been more than just a healthcare provider; she has become a cherished part of their extended family.

The Nudge That Made All the Difference: David’s Story

Sometimes a little push from loved ones can make all the difference. For David P., encouragement from his wife and daughters led to a dermatology appointment that may have saved his life. During a full skin exam with Dr. Austin Maddy at Quincy Medical Group, a suspicious mole on David’s neck was identified as melanoma — caught early thanks to their persistence. David’s experience is a powerful reminder of how quick, simple, and potentially lifesaving a skin exam can be.

A Father’s Day Tribute: Honoring the Generations Before

This Father’s Day, Quincy Medical Group’s Sarah McIntyre, PA‑C, reflects on the legacy of care passed down through her family. Inspired by her grandfather, Dr. Merle Crossland, and great-grandfather, Dr. Walter Whitaker — one of QMG’s founders — Sarah continues their tradition of compassionate, community-centered healthcare. Their values of integrity, dedication, and service live on through Sarah’s work in pediatrics, honoring the generations before her and the patients she serves today.
