Registration Open for the 25th Annual Bridge the Gap to Health Race
The Quincy Medical Group (QMG) Foundation is excited to announce that registration is now open for the 25th annual Bridge the Gap to Health Race on Saturday, May 10, 2025. Participants can choose from a 5K, 10K, or half marathon.

Starting Your Fitness Routine
It’s no surprise that 80% of Americans do not meet the recommendations for physical activity. We are more sedentary than ever. We sit in the car on the way to work, we sit at work, and then we go home and sit down to relax. Good news is it’s never too late (or early) to develop a manageable physical activity routine that works for you. Being healthy doesn’t mean you have to sweat it out at a gym for two hours every day – I promise what I am asking is much more manageable than that.

Simple Exercises to do at your Desk
Perform these five movements every 60 – 90 minutes throughout the day. There’s no need to even leave your desk. In addition, try to stand up every 20 – 45 minutes and always be looking for ways to move more throughout your day.
