The QMG Birth Center is the first of its kind in our region, offering a safe and welcoming space for individuals with low-risk pregnancies who want a natural and personal birth experience. Beyond birth, our certified nurse-midwives provide comprehensive care for women at every stage of life including routine gynecologic services, prenatal care, labor support, delivery, and postpartum visits.
Located beside the QMG Surgery Center and Cancer Institute on the Quincy Town Center campus at 3301 Broadway St., the Birth Center offers a calm, supportive setting designed around your needs.
What to Expect
- Three private birthing suites with space to move and tubs for water births
- Dedicated exam rooms for gynecologic, prenatal, and postpartum care
- Family-centered areas with comfortable seating and kitchen space
- Midwifery-led, evidence based care that empowers you to make choices that fit your needs
Meet Our Team
Care is led by our certified nurse-midwives, Ashley Stroot and Heather Requet, who offer care ranging from gynecologic services to prenatal, birth, and postpartum care. They partner with you to:
- Determine if a Birth Center delivery is the best option.
- Develop birth plans that reflect your preferences and hopes.
- Provide education, guidance, and support from pregnancy through postpartum.
- Offer onging, full-spectrum women’s healthcare.
