My interest in becoming a nurse like my mother and grandmother stems back as far as I can remember. I have always had a strong desire to care for children of all ages and their families. I began my nursing career as a Labor and Delivery/Nursery Nurse and then moved into the role as a Pediatric Nurse at QMG over 16 years ago. As a Pediatric Nurse I found my job rewarding but I felt like I had more to offer. Since furthering my education and obtaining my Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, it has allowed me to provide even more of an active role in providing care to ill children as well as providing support and education to their families. One of the biggest rewards of this job is knowing that you’re making a difference.

"SHE WAS AMAZING. I was blown away by her. She took the time to really find out what was going on. This was our third visit for an illness with cough that just would not go away. She made a plan and my kiddo is feeling so much better. I felt listened to and not rushed at all. I would recommend her to everyone who comes into the Pediatric walk-in. Hands down!"

"Erica was our ped nurse before she became a CNP. I request her ever chance I get if we need to go to walk-in. She's incredibly knowledgeable. She is thorough. She has a great bedside manor. If you see her in public, she knows exactly who we are."
