Impact at Quin­cy Med­ical Group is cre­at­ed in many ways — through lead­er­ship, ser­vice, and the steady ded­i­ca­tion of indi­vid­u­als whose work strength­ens our orga­ni­za­tion year after year. This year, QMG proud­ly intro­duces the Lega­cy Impact Award, hon­or­ing those whose sus­tained con­tri­bu­tions, com­mit­ment, and influ­ence have shaped our cul­ture and ele­vat­ed our stan­dards over time.

QMG proud­ly rec­og­nizes Pat­ty W. with the 2025 QMG Lega­cy Impact Award. For near­ly 40 years, Pat­ty has been a con­stant and trust­ed pres­ence at QMG. As a cre­den­tial­ing spe­cial­ist, she has nav­i­gat­ed decades of orga­ni­za­tion­al growth, evolv­ing reg­u­la­tions, and increas­ing­ly com­plex pay­er and gov­ern­ment require­ments. Through every change, Pat­ty has remained dili­gent, resilient, and deeply com­mit­ted to ensur­ing QMG providers are sup­port­ed and set up for success.

“Pat­ty is the def­i­n­i­tion of reli­a­bil­i­ty and exper­tise,” shared Sele­na Stege­man, Direc­tor of Provider Cre­den­tial­ing. ​“She nav­i­gates some of the most com­plex and ever-chang­ing cre­den­tial­ing chal­lenges with per­sis­tence, clar­i­ty, and kind­ness, ensur­ing our providers and patients are sup­port­ed every step of the way. QMG is stronger because of her work. Pat­ty does not accept ​‘no’ as the final answer, and when chal­lenges arise, she research­es, appeals, and advo­cates with just the right bal­ance of deter­mi­na­tion and diplo­ma­cy, result­ing in ele­vat­ed stan­dards and pos­i­tive outcomes.”

Most recent­ly, Pat­ty has played a crit­i­cal role in nav­i­gat­ing cre­den­tial­ing for QMG’s new Birth Cen­ter, a process not pre­vi­ous­ly com­plet­ed in our region. Through exten­sive research, col­lab­o­ra­tion with inter­nal part­ners, and out­reach to trust­ed con­tacts, Pat­ty has guid­ed this effort with pre­ci­sion and urgency, ensur­ing appli­ca­tions are com­plet­ed cor­rect­ly and efficiently.

Pat­ty car­ries an excep­tion­al­ly heavy work­load and rou­tine­ly steps in dur­ing evenings and week­ends when dead­lines are tight. She does so with­out being asked, dri­ven by a deep com­mit­ment to QMG and the providers she rep­re­sents. Providers con­sis­tent­ly rec­og­nize Pat­ty for her clar­i­ty, effi­cien­cy, and abil­i­ty to make a com­plex process feel man­age­able and always deliv­ered with kind­ness and respect. Her men­tor­ship, reli­a­bil­i­ty, and unwa­ver­ing ded­i­ca­tion have made a last­ing impact on QMG’s oper­a­tions, cul­ture, and mission.
