I began having health issues last fall and decided to transfer my care to Dr. Davenport in Keokuk the end of January, even though it is a 1 1/2 hr drive, because I needed a physician who would coordinate my care and work with the necessary specialists to treat a difficult to diagnose health condition. He has already been a tremendous help."

"Dr Davenport turns away from his computer to face me and read my expressions as well as listen to me. He doesn't type until he hears me out. I can see the concern on his face and I always feel like I might be his favorite patient. I get a bit of social anxiety sometimes and he takes that into account when he talks to me to ensure I don't feel judged or scolded or pressured. I trust him because he is personable, willing to look up information and share his knowledge as well as consider my preferences and lifestyle. I would recommend him to teach these skills to other doctors in this region. This region has people with horrible people skills.... Dr Davenport is amazing."
