At Quincy Medical Group, our top priority is you. We want to ensure that you have access to high-quality, affordable care provided by the physicians you know and love, directly in your community.

Some patients enrolled in Aetna plans may have received letters stating their QMG provider will no longer be in network as of October 1, 2026. We are currently in active negotiations with Aetna to renew our commercial coverage. These negotiations include Aetna Commercial (PPO/HMO), Medicare Advantage, and D-SNP plans. Our goal through these continued negotiations is to reach a fair agreement and maintain coverage for our patients enrolled in Aetna plans.  

There are no changes in care today. Patients enrolled in Aetna plans can continue to see their QMG provider through September 30, 2026, with no interruptions.

As we move closer to September 2026, we'll make sure patients enrolled in Aetna plans have the latest information about their coverage and care options.

We want to assure you that negotiations between care providers like QMG and carriers like Aetna are a regular part of the contract process, and we are working hard to remain in-network.  QMG has not received a meaningful rate increase from Aetna since 2008.
