I nev­er intend­ed to pur­sue med­i­cine as a career. I attend­ed under­grad on a mis­sion to be the next Steve Irwin in the world of wildlife biol­o­gy. How­ev­er, mul­ti­ple expe­ri­ences led me to a career in med­i­cine. Sim­i­lar to my jour­ney, I feel that every patient has a sto­ry and every sto­ry is unique. To pro­vide the best care, an indi­vid­u­al­ized treat­ment plan must be designed to address the needs and wish­es of each and every patient.
