It has been my priv­i­lege and hon­or to have been entrust­ed with the med­ical and sur­gi­cal eye care needs of thou­sands of patients over the years in a pro­fes­sion that I am find­ing very hard to leave behind. It is incred­i­bly reward­ing to assist patients in the opti­miza­tion, preser­va­tion, and restora­tion of their vision. The needs of the indi­vid­ual patient is the focus of each of my patient encoun­ters. In addi­tion to pre­scrib­ing required care, I embrace the respon­si­bil­i­ty to edu­cate, reas­sure, and encour­age patients fac­ing issues with their eyes and vision. In the area of plan­ning for cataract surgery, at a time when many options are avail­able, I find par­tic­u­lar­ly reward­ing the process of dis­cov­er­ing and deliv­er­ing the sur­gi­cal plan tai­lored to each patien­t’s unique needs and goals.
