QMG Welcomes Community to Celebrate New Dermatology Office in Hannibal

HAN­NI­BAL, MO — Quin­cy Med­ical Group (QMG) invites the com­mu­ni­ty to cel­e­brate the open­ing of its new Der­ma­tol­ogy loca­tion in Han­ni­bal with a rib­bon cut­ting cer­e­mo­ny and open house.

The rib­bon cut­ting, in part­ner­ship with the Han­ni­bal Cham­ber of Com­merce, will take place on Fri­day, April 17 at noon at the new clin­ic, locat­ed at 3531 Star­dust Dri­ve in Han­ni­bal. Com­mu­ni­ty mem­bers are encour­aged to attend, tour the facil­i­ty, meet the care team, and learn more about the der­ma­tol­ogy ser­vices now offered locally.

The new loca­tion expands access to spe­cial­ized skin care ser­vices for patients through­out Han­ni­bal and sur­round­ing com­mu­ni­ties, offer­ing eval­u­a­tion and treat­ment for a wide range of skin con­di­tions, pre­ven­tive screen­ings, and per­son­al­ized der­ma­to­log­ic care with­in the community.

The clin­ic is led by Jim Wheel­er, PA‑C, who says pro­vid­ing care in the com­mu­ni­ty is espe­cial­ly meaningful. 

“Han­ni­bal is home for me, so being able to pro­vide care here is incred­i­bly spe­cial,” Wheel­er said. ​“I’m proud to help bring der­ma­tol­ogy ser­vices to this com­mu­ni­ty and sup­port peo­ple in tak­ing care of their skin health.”

QMG looks for­ward to expand­ing spe­cial­ty care ser­vices at its Han­ni­bal loca­tion, adding more ser­vices and providers to sup­port the community’s health­care needs.

Fol­low­ing the rib­bon cut­ting cer­e­mo­ny, light refresh­ments and give­aways will be avail­able. Atten­dees can also enter a draw­ing for a Stan­ley cooler.
