Great River Autism Connection Hosts Annual Autism Acceptance and Awareness Walk & Event

Great Riv­er Autism Con­nec­tion (GRAC), a pro­gram of the Quin­cy Med­ical Group Foun­da­tion, will host its annu­al Autism Accep­tance and Aware­ness Walk. Com­mu­ni­ty mem­bers are invit­ed to attend and cel­e­brate indi­vid­u­als liv­ing with and touched by autism while pro­mot­ing under­stand­ing, inclu­sion, and support.

The event will take place on Sat­ur­day, April 18, at 10 a.m. at Upper Moor­man Park, 1610 Moor­man Park Dri­ve in Quin­cy. Refresh­ments will be pro­vid­ed for attendees.

The walk is free and open to the pub­lic. Dona­tions are wel­come, with all pro­ceeds ben­e­fit­ing GRAC. In addi­tion to the walk, fam­i­lies can enjoy a vari­ety of fam­i­ly-friend­ly activ­i­ties and learn more about GRAC and local resources avail­able to indi­vid­u­als with autism and their families.

Great Riv­er Autism Con­nec­tion pro­vides oppor­tu­ni­ties for fam­i­lies and care­givers of indi­vid­u­als with autism to con­nect, share expe­ri­ences, and access sup­port with­in the tri-state community.
