Rishi Ghanekar, MD

Medical Director, Clinical Research

 

Dr. Ghanekar oversees Clinical Research activity and trains/assists other QMG physicians to become research investigators.

 

Dr. Ghanekar joined Quincy Medical Group in 2006. He is originally from India. Dr. Ghanekar received his Medical Degree from the B.J. Medical College, Pune, India. He completed his Internal Medicine residency in 2003 at Northwestern University Medical School, Chicago, IL. He completed his Nephrology Fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern, 2006. Dr. Ghanekar is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Nephrology.

 

Kiley McGlauchlen, MS, CCRP

Director Clinical Research

 

Kiley McGlauchlen joined Quincy Medical Group in September 2007. Kiley came to us from Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis where she was a Senior Research Patient Coordinator. She is a Certified Clinical Research Professional. Her responsibilities include:  the direction of the program, ensuring the conduction of clinical trials in accordance to FDA regulations and GCP guidelines, overseeing the research staff, approving contracts and budgets associated with trial activity, and assisting in the training of clinical research investigators.

 

   

Kelly Sorrill, CCRP

Clinical Research Coordinator, Cancer Center Campus

 

Kelly joined Quincy Medical Group in August 2006. She had previously worked 17 years (11 years in Radiation therapy and 6 years in the Cancer Registry) at Blessing Hospital. In 2004, she became a Certified Tumor Registrar by successfully completing a comprehensive written exam on the principles of cancer data abstracting and registry management. She joined the team as a Data Coordinator for the Clinical Research Department and initially worked at both campuses. With the rapid growth of The Cancer Center research program, she became dedicated to The Cancer Center at Blessing Hospital and is now a Clinical Research Coordinator. She serves on the Cancer Committee Board as the Clinical Trial Liaison ensuring that the cancer program meets standards related to trial activity.  

 

Jennifer Ely, RN, BSN, CCRP

Clinical Research Coordinator, Main Campus

 

Jennifer joined Quincy Medical Group in July 2007. She had previously worked at the  Audrain Medical Center in the ICU. She has 11 years of nursing experience in Gerontology, Med-Surg, ICU, and Administration. Jennifer works with our Main Campus providers and staff to conduct and coordinate clinical trial activities and manage study participant’s care.

   

Kim Polley, RTR

Clinical Research Coordinator, Cancer Center Campus

 

A Quincy native, Kim became a Registered Radiologic Technologist after graduating from Blessing Hospital’s School of Radiology. Post-graduation she worked as a Special Procedure’s Technologist in the Cardiac Cath Lab in Springfield, IL before becoming a Clinical Research Coordinator working with Prairie Cardiovascular. Overjoyed, with the opportunity to return home and work for QMG she now works as a Clinical Research Coordinator in the Medical Oncology department .
